Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

A series where I had a lot of fun watching them all, and hit the end and wasn't quite sure what to do next. Fairly unique, even if it follows a traditional pattern. The relationships were all lovely, the costumes were great, the main character was someone you wanted to grow up to be, and so much of the acting was done entirely in the eyes, befitting the period theme. It was odd, how many people happened to die around her, but that's the genre, and past that, I had no real complaints. ****

Riverdale

This is a show, where if Netflix hadn't been telling me about it every week, I wouldn't have made it past the first episode. But in the end, I watched them all, and that says it's own thing. There was more going wrong here than right. I liked Veronica's capes. Other than that it was too dark, the characters were too far off (although the Grundy thing was the worst, and I was really happy to get the in universe explication for what the hell happened there), and it was terribly unbelievable teenage dialog. But that said, I'm not sure I won't be tuning in for next season. **
